Beijing FAMED Machinery Co., Ltd. (FAMED) is a joint venture, in which several private shareholders from both Chinese and foreign companies have invested in. In 2002, after ownership restructuring, FAMED was founded by Beijing CLCL Foundry & molding Engineering Developing Co., Ltd., which has been set up by China Leasing Company Limited in 1987. Moreover, in the beginning FAMED was a subsidiary of China International Trust and Investment Corporation.

Ever since its establishment, FAMED has provided its customers high quality casting products and service on the basis of its most up to date technology and excellent management. At the same time, FAMED is very keen to develop new domestic and international markets and to extend new product ranges. Furthermore, innovation, improvement and development have always been goals for FAMED.

In order to comply with customer requirements, FAMED has set up several manufacturing facilities. Those facilities include FAMED Manufacturing Plant in Tongzhou District, Beijing in 1991; FAMED South Company in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province in 1993; Beijing FAMED Kyoritsu Foundry Co., Ltd. (Sino-Japanese joint venture) in 1995; FAMED Machinery Plant in Shunyi District, Beijing in 1996 and Beijing FAMED Machinery Co., Ltd. in Xiji, Beijing in 2002. Also, FAMED employs the full range of casting processes to guarantee the quality of its products, such as vacuum sealed process, resin-bonded sand molding, high pressure green sand molding and precision process, lost wax and Hunter automatic lines. Moreover, the vacuum molding process, developed and enhanced by FAMED, has been sold to and used in many enterprises from Beijing, Hebei, Henan, Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shanxi.

FAMED produces various kinds of machined machine parts and counterweights for construction or agricultural machines, which includes ductile iron connecting rod, beam, engine frame; gray iron engine frame, box; steel castings and high manganese steels, etc., Over many years we have established long term and stable business relationships with many companies in Japan, USA, Canada, UK, Germany and other European countries. From 1987 until now, FAMED has already exported 500, 000 ton (more than 80, 000 ton in 2006) of high quality castings and machine parts. The annual exporting capacity has already reached 100, 000 tons.

In order to raise and enhance the concept of quality and management for all staff members of our company, FAMED has received the QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATION in February 2002. Additionally, the company has been certified by GB/TI 9001-2000 idt ISO 9001:2000.
